1. Clean hands:Before applying eye drops to your pet, be sure to thoroughly clean your hands with soap and running water. After washing your hands, dry them thoroughly with a clean towel or paper towel to prevent moisture from being carried into the eye drop bottle.
2. Keep the mouth of the bottle clean and hygienic:When using eye drops, do not allow the bottle tip to come into direct contact with your pet's eyes, hair or skin. After use, rinse the nozzle with warm water to minimize the chance of drying out the top hydrogel.
3. Immobilize your pet from moving around:To apply eye drops safely and effectively, pets need to be gently but firmly immobilized, especially on the head, to minimize struggling and movement. Before applying the eye drops, you can soothe your pet with a soft voice or petting to relax and reduce tension. If your pet exhibits scratching behavior after applying eye drops, stop it promptly. After using eye drops, try to keep your pet out of the house and indoors in a clean area.
4. Keep away from pet's eyes and fur:Apply the eye drops directly to the inside of your pet's lower eyelid, avoiding drops on the eyeball to minimize irritation. Handle with care to prevent the liquid from splashing onto other parts of the pet, especially the fur, to avoid discomfort or accidental ingestion. Do not use the eye drops if your pet has a serious injury or infection in its eye, or if it suffers from other eye situation.
5. Encourage your pet:Give your pet a small snack or praise after each use so that he or she gradually associates eye drops with something pleasant and improves cooperation.
6. Storage conditions should be appropriate:Regularly check the expiration date of the eye drops, after the expiration date, please discard immediately and do not use. For animal use only, not for human use. Keep eye drops out of the reach of children and ensure that the ambient temperature is moderate (usually room temperature) and avoid direct sunlight or high temperatures.
